InformationLeader Functionality

The InformationLeader platform is comprised of six functional modules that work together to offer a robust feature set designed to maximise business visibility and increase operational efficiency.

Forms Module

Forms Module
The Forms Module hosts the electronic form designs for users to enter data into. This electronic data can then be quickly retrieved via built in search tools, or analysed using the built in reporting module. The electronic forms can be customised to include tools like alerts, data validation and permissions to improve the accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of operational data.

InformationLeader’s electronic forms also offer full version control to emulate current paper based systems, a necessity when an organisation operates in a regulated or auditable environment and has a requirement to comply with standards or legislation. Built in electronic signatures also allow users to digitally authorise organisational data with the confidence in knowing that it is also traceable.

Documents Module

Documents Module
InformationLeader also has an integrated documents module for the management of control documents within the organisation. The documents module supports full version control of documents or files and also has customisable release control to better reflect your organisation's existing processes.

Documents or files are centrally located, reducing the chance of duplicates being held throughout the organisation.

Requests Module

Requests Module
A request represents a business process or a workflow. The requests module is where you can facilitate your own business processes and workflows to increase visibility, gain control over responsibility and make the processes more disciplined.

Processes can be tracked to monitor their current status, and tools like escalations and notifications can be used to ensure that workflows remain on track. Automating workflows and company processes enhances the adherence to business rules and procedures.

Reports Module

Reports Module
Custom designed reports allow users to analyse data in real time in any part of their organisation. Reports can be used for simple data retrieval, or more complex data analysis. They can be used to display lists of information, summarised tables of data or even charts and graphs of any design. Once a report has been generated it can be saved, emailed or printed directly from the system.

Reports generated in real time keep organisational stakeholders anywhere in the world updated and well informed with the latest information. This provides them with the opportunity to take proactive action to reduce the risk arising from detrimental situations.

Builder Module

Builder Modules
The builder module is separated into three sub-modules where the InformationLeader system is designed and maintained.

The form builder sub-module is used to maintain the design and functionality of the electronic form templates. Here a designer can change the layout, content and the rules surrounding the use of the electronic templates.

The request builder sub-module is used to maintain the design of the requests. So it is here where an organisation can customise the system to build requests that would represent their existing business processes.

The report builder sub-module is used to maintain the content and structure for the reporting. This information is then used to create the reports themselves.

The builder allows organisations to customise the InformationLeader system to suit their existing business processes instead of having to change successful business practices to suit the software. Changes can be made quickly and easily, without the need for specialist programmers.

Administration Module

Administration Module
The administration module allows system administrators to maintain InformationLeader from a single location without the need to access any 'back end' areas of the system. From here they can modify the structure of the system, maintain users and security settings.

Having a simple, centralised area for administration allows in-house maintenance of users, permissions, and system setup.
